Duke and Duchess seem to have adjusted quickly!!-adopted 2015
Woody and Whippy are now about 6 months old. (formally Gustav and Garrett) I finally was able to get them in the same picture together. They are really quick, but this was snack time. They have settled in well and love their older "brothers". One day I will get a picture of all four of them together. Thank you for all you do for all the kitties.adopted 2015
Hi! I'm teddy....you knew me as Angel. I wanted to send you some pics of my furever home. The humans have adjusted well to me in the 2 weeks since I took over their house. Even the big black furball that they call a dog likes me. I have some big boys that like to play laser pointer games with me. The female was hurt this week so I layed with her until she was better. The guy who says he's the boss.....well I've got him wrapped around my paw. Thank you for matching me with this house. I can't believe they lived so long without me!
Just a quick update. Sammy & Sarah (formerly Conner & Olivia) are doing wonderful since adoption on September 19th. I checked your website for the heck of it and saw two of their sisters, Silky & Lila, on the current adoption list. Hope they find homes soon. If they are of the same temperament as our two little cuties, they will become great additions to a new family. Believe it or not, Sammy has learned to play fetch just like a dog would. He’ll bring his favorite blue mouse to me at least 15-20 times before he needs a rest LOL. What fun! Tell Silky & Lila that their brother & sister say hello. Adopted 2015
Thank you so much for introducing these two little treasures to us. Daisy and Lulu are sending their pictures to say hello. Adopted 2015
Thank you, Quinn and Simon (Nathan) have their forever home! Adopted 2015
Coogan - now Epsilon - is doing well. He's really energetic and playful (especially right around midnight!) and very cuddly when he starts to get sleepy. My other cat, Calc, is still adjusting to how excitable he can be. They eat and sleep together, but still have a little trouble playing together. It's improving little by little though, and I'm sure they will be great playmates in time. I have attached a few pictures - he's so cute! Adopted 2015
Hi everyone. Kitty, when brought home, imediately got out of the carrior and check out the whole house. She then went under my head board of my bed and took her nap, which that is where she is now..She was born in Nov. of 2006. It was on her chip certificate, so she is 9 years old. She really hasn't eaten yet but I am just letting her go. Thank you for Kitty. Adopted 1/2/2016.
Happy New Year from Butters. Came in Spring 2008- adopted March 2014
Hogan arrived at the shelter with some severe injuries. After nursing him back to health,Hogan was adopted in July 2014. He has a wonderful new life. Here is an update from his new family "Hogan is doing great. We mostly call him Hoagie now. We recently put him on different and expensive food but it as so worth it. He is softer, more active, and playful now. We also acquired some abandoned kittens in May. Hoagie is like a father figure to them and protective. It is really cute. We moved to Lehighton and we are in the woods. We have a screened in patio that Hoagie likes to spend time on."
Henry (was Yuri) has made himself quite at home over the past year. Thank you so much for rescuing him and being an amazing shelter!! Adopted 2015
Alfie (now Leo) is purrr-fectly content in his new forever home with us. Adopted 2016

Sadie is doing well. Each day she does something different. She loves attention and loves to snuggle. She even becomes demanding to be petted when she wants. She purrs loudly. She likes to help sort socks and finds her little hiding places, like in the closet. Adopted 2016
Just wanted to give you an update on Aurora. We have renamed her Anja and she is quite the little diva since she has come out of her shell. She really enjoys looking out of the windows and I think she has tried out pretty much every one in the house! She is very playful and loves to race around the house at top speed. Unfortunately most of the time it is late at night! She is even starting to warm up to the dog. Thank you for the wonderful addition to the family! Adopted 2016
After seeing Oliver's picture on your website I instantly fell in love and had to meet him. Therese was so helpful to make sure he was a match for our family. I wanted a crazy talkative cat that would run around the house like a maniac. I got exactly what I wanted. Oliver likes to wake everyone up at 5am with his toys. Even the first day I brought him home he didn't want to stay in a room by himself. He was ready to explore. He is such a snuggler. When he wants you to get out of bed he head butts you and snuggles and licks your neck. It is nice to be able to keep in touch with his foster Mom Barb. She loves to hear updates about him. She has definately socialized him well. She is a God-sent to these cats! Your organization is awesome. When I took Oliver for his first check-up, Dr Fortna was very impressed with how he was vaccinated, FLV tested and microchipped. All of you are just the best! I couldn't be happier! Adopted 2016
Hello Everyone, I would like to give you an update on our pretty cat Bella. You see, my daughter Tiffany who volunteers for FFF found my husband and I our most precious Bella to adopt. She was trapped by another volunteer, Liz, who of course wanted to keep her, but unfortunately Bella was too frightened by her other cats. She knew it was in Bella's best interest to find a quiet home for her so that way she could be the queen of her castle. Not ever having a cat before, only having dogs, we were not sure what we were getting ourselves into. So everyone said take her home and give her a try. Well, it is now 3 years later and that has become one of the best choices my husband and I have ever made. We couldn't imagine our lives without our baby. She brings us laughter, companionship, and many smiles everyday of our lives. Please don't hesitate to adopt. I'm sorry we waited so long. Adopted 2013
Sawyer and Wolf have settled in nicely! Adopted 2015
I fell in love with the crazy little guy the minute I saw him. Max, I had to wait for, since he seemed to have a constant “cold”. His story was a sad one, found on the side of the road near the shelter. He was just so darn lovable, I looked past the sneezing. After waiting for over a month, and a few antibiotics later, I convinced everyone I could take care of the little bugger. He ate too fast and he sneezed his food right out his nose. He came home, adjusted right away. We were expecting a puppy in a few weeks and I wanted to get him adjusted to his new home. Abbey and Maxwell are very close today (our sheltie). As we went along, the “cold” never seemed to go away. We couldn’t figure out why he kept getting food into his nose. To make a long story short, Max was born with a clef palate! He needed major surgery to close it up! We discovered this at the doctor, finally when she was able to open his mouth and saw the gaping hole in the roof of his mouth! As you can see he grown into quite the handsome young man. He is the sweetest cat, loves car rides, and is shy around big crowds. Around us, he is just a lover. He weights in at 16lbs, hasn’t stopped woofing his food down (he so loves to eat!) We also still have Bubbi, who is 16 years old, that we adopted back in December of 1999, she is an orange and white tabby just like Max. She and Max are often cuddling together. He also still has his teddy bear and does lay with it now and then. Adopted 2014
Buster's a happy camper in his new home. Adopter 2016
"Autumn, who we have renamed Miss Kitty, is doing GREAT! She is so funny, comes when called, loves her laser! Has become quite the little snuggler! How lucky are we!!!" Adopted 2016
Just wanted to share a picture of the 2 rescues. We rescued "schmitty" in March 2014 who is now Yuengling. "Milo" was my Christmas present 2015 and is now Lager. They love to play with each other and chase each other around the house. We could not have gotten two better boys. They get lots of love as they are both very loveable. They say meow. Adopted 2014 & 2015
I just wanted to let you know that Sweetie has adjusted very well to her new home. It took her awhile but with patience and persistence she is finally comfortable in her new home. She plays until she's exhausted and climbs on to Dad's lap and falls asleep safe and sound. Dad loves her and is spoiling her rotten!!! New scratch post and new toys everytime he goes to the store! Thank you so much for everything you do for all the kittens and cats!!! You truly are a blessing!! adopted 2016
Karen- renamed Haiku... She's fitting in perfectly with the family! The day we brought her home, she claimed this as her spot (and her Steelers blanket). My kids, husband and I love her very much and couldn't ask for a better cat! Thanks for helping us find our furry baby! adopted 2016

We adopted this precious little girl. Her name was Victoria but is now Bella. She is so loved and is loving her new home. I absolutely loved this shelter. The kittens and cats are so well taken care of and loved. They really make sure the kitten/cat is going to the right home. I'm so happy we found it and now have our Bella. Adopted 2016
Evelyn who we now call Josie, is settling in. She hid from us all Saturday night but we got her to come out on Sunday to explore her new home. She's eating well and enjoying looking at the outdoors from all the windows. She's still a little skittish from sounds and is entering the house and will hide under the bed until she knows who's home but we are optimistic that will soon change. She has been so well behaved and we just adore her!! She's SO sweet and loving and we love snuggling and playing with her. I couldn't imagine not have chosen her. I think she's the perfect fit for us!! Adopted 2016
It has been nine months that I have my cat. I changed her name to Babes. It had been Kitty but that didn't work. Babes does. I don't know if she has lost any weight, but I don't care. I love her to bits. She is affectionate and she has many many places that she naps in. She lets me know when it is time to get up in the morning,to be fed of course, and she sleeps in my bed with me....I'm sure she is happy with me. Adopted 2015
Just wanted to give you an update...sibella is doing great...as soon as we opened the box when we got home she started purring up a storm and was curled up with us on the bed purring within minutes. Our daughter was ecstatic to meet her and sibella was and has been doing great with her. She hid under our bed for part of the day to sleep and then in the evening came out to explore our room and play with her toys (oh and the laser pointer works haha). And today she has been exploring and snuggling as well, so far things are going really well. I wanted to thank you for a great experience and a great kitty. Adopted 2016

Hi my name is Henry. When my mom first saw me at the shelter I was huddled in the back of my cage and refused to look at her, even when she tried to hold me I was scared and wanted her to go away. Now when I hear her go to bed I make sure I’m the first one to run to the bedroom so I can cuddle next to her. Sometimes I purr so loud she cannot fall asleep. I love all my catnip toys, empty boxes and even the new carrier mom bought for me, here I am showing her how nicely I fit into it.Adopted 2014

Minnie- I share the chair with the female human. I like the way she pets me while I'm lying on her lap. I also have a room where I have water and food dishes, a litter box and a covered basket hideaway where I can go when I want to be left alone. I think I'm going to like it here. Love, Minnie-Adopted 2015
Scooter-Shhh, don’t tell mom I’m on top of the refrigerator because she says I’m not supposed to do that. I really like nice high places where I can watch what is going on around me. My other favorite place to sit in front of the patio screen door where I can get fresh air, sometimes I’m nice and share the space with my brothers Henry and Cole. Adopted 201
