“Jeanette L. Maucher grew up in the beautiful Hudson Valley, NY, and completed her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences at Binghamton University. After five years working in small animal practice as receptionist, patient care, lab and surgery tech, she attended and graduated Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM and has been practicing companion animal medicine since 2011.
The last four years have been spent in the gorgeous Lehigh Valley. She has a particular love for surgery, feline medicine, and enjoys working for shelters and their missions to adopt out those without homes as well as helping to keep the population of cats and dogs under control. Her hobbies include reading, listening to and performing music, gardening and being in the outdoors, and baking or cooking up interesting foods while being harassed by her two feline companions, Lucretia and Evangeline.”
