Annie Oakley- a very sweet gal who desires and deserves a home of her own. She has a very social and affectionate personality with people, but she is not fond of other cats. She would like to be the only cat in the home. She was rescued in July 2024 when she had kittens. When she came to us she was in bad health. Annie is special needs because she drinks a lot and urinates a lot because her kidneys have been damaged by an untreated infection she had for a long time before she came to us. Batman- a young fellow who came to us last year with his brother. The family relinquished them due to lack finances to care for them. The brother was quickly adopted, but we had to keep Batman because he was diagnosed with diabetes. Our medical team and volunteers work hard to keep him regulated. He has such a wonderful personality and loves everyone. He deserves a home with someone who has the experience, time and finances to care for a diabetic cat. Caesar- is a high energy, feisty kitten. though a little shy at first. Once he gets to know you, he is very lovable and sweet. He loved to entertain his brothers and sisters with a playful chase or rumble. when he mellows out he transfers into a cuddly kitten who loves a good tummy rub and will purr himself to sleep. His one brother and sister have been adopted, so now it's just Caesar and Halo his other sister. He does not necessarily have to go with his sister but he will do well with another energetic kitten or young cat. His favorite toys are a four way tunnel, cat wands, battery operated toys, and chasing just about anything. He is good with nail trims and loves a Churu treat for good behavior. Chanel- from a litter rescued from the outdoors. Chanel is the shyest of the litter of three but once she sees her sisters having fun, she joins right in. Charmed: Looking for a kitty that is affectionate, energetic, playful, good with kids and other cats? Look no further, because this lovely brown tabby is for you! She is good with kids, and other cats, but not a fan of dogs. True to her name, this is one charming girl! Charmed says: "I got my name because you can't help but be charmed by me and my antics! I'm super sweet with a dash of sass. I'll throw myself at your feet and show you my belly because I really want to be loved! I'm brave enough to fit into any family. Cookie is a very affectionate and friendly cat with her humans, but she does not like other cats. She was brought to us December 2024 when her owner could no longer care for her and the family couldn't take her. Shelter life is very difficult for cats who hate other cats. She is a senior gal, who is on thyroid meds and fluoxetine, so she is listed as special needs. Her owner must have or establish a good relationship with a veterinarian. Dinah - a quiet but friendly young tabby girl. Found outside in Allentown and brought in through our TNR program. Gilbert- a wonderful tabby boy. He is very social and playful. It's hard to believe he is already 8 years old. He loves attention, but doesn't like to be picked up. He wants to come to you. He came to us from a TNR client. He had already been neutered and eartipped, but he was so friendly that we kept him. That was in 2022. It turned out Gilbert has GI issues and after a lot of attention from our medical team, they now have him stabilized using prescription food and a low dose of steroids. Halo-has earned her name because she is just the sweetest angel ever. She loves to play gently, though she has enough energy to keep up with her brother. She does like to go off on her own and play with her favorite toys, like her cat playmat with mouse and other battery-operated toys. Mary Kay is a very sweet & well mannered young lady! She can be a bit reserved at first but with time & patience she has really started to let her fun loving side show! Mary Kay was found abandoned on a bike trail with her baby boy, Max Factor, & when she first arrived at her foster home she didn’t even know how to play with toys. But now she is starting to learn the joys of batting a toy around & will sometimes play with her little boy too! She enjoys a good head/chin rub & even gives the occasional head butt in thanks! Nova-is a very sweet and affectionate gal, rescued when the mom cat had kittens on someone's property. She is very playful and will sit with you and snuggle up with you for a nap. She is special needs because she is positive for FeLV- although a regressive form. This means it does not show up on every test, and is more hidden in the body. She needs to be an only cat in the home or she could go with a cat who also has the regressive form of Leukemia. She is amazing in her foster home, but would love a forever home as an only cat. Peter - came to us in December of 2016 along with 3 siblings at just a few weeks old. All of his siblings have since been adopted and Peter still remains at our shelter, to no fault of his own. Over the years Peter became shy and scared of human touch however, recently our volunteers have been spending more time with him to help him adjust in hopes of finding him a forever home. Peter has become a completely different cat. He will come when called and does enjoy pets on his terms. He will sit on the arm of your chair with you and snuggle. He can be very skittish at times and will take time to get used to a new environment. Peter would do best as an only cat. He does tolerate others however, Peter's personality is very dominant and can be a bully. With a little love and a lot of patience, Peter would thrive in his forever home. Slice had a bit of a rough start in the beginning & came to Forgotten Felines shelter from a hoarding situation. She was very scared & cautious at first but she’s slowly become more trusting and loving in her foster home. Toby- a large tuxedo boy with a lot of love to give someone. He has a wonderful personality with everyone. He is special needs because he is on Prozac. Our vet will give adopter some meds to take home and a prescription for one month and then they must follow up with their vet. These meds cannot be stopped suddenly. His owner needs to be diligent with the litter box cleaning. Because he is a big boy, his eating has to be watched so he does not stop eating for any reason for more than 48 hours, or several days of not eating much. With large cats they are in danger of Liver failure-hepatic lipidosis. Toby gets a long with other cats in his room at the shelter, but he was the only cat in his previous home. Tugger -His human went into assisted living . Very friendly and affectionate. Tugger is a fun boy who loves chasing a laser or a piece of string. He will also amuse himself with a catnip toy by tossing it in the air and then rolling around with it! He is very food focused and should be adopted into a home with a set feeding schedule.
