Armani- handsome tuxedo boy trapped outside in a volunteer's yard a few years ago. . He had an injured toe and was limping. He has recovered but is still on the shy side. He likes attention and being petted, once he trusts you. He likes hiding out in the cat condo and comes out to socialize when there are not too many people in the room. He gets along with other cats but should have a quiet adult home. Born approx 2014, neutered, up to date on shots and Leukemia neg. If someone would be willing to foster him that would be great. He needs one room to start in and someone who has shy cat experience. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID19 SITUATION OUR SHELTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO VISITORS. BW aka Bailey - I am a handsome black and white boy rescued by an older lady when I appeared in her yard in 2011. She kept me and my family in her garage loft. It was comfy there. I loved climbing the rafters and playing with the other cats there. I also love massages. The lady had to move to Arizona in 2018., so we came to the shelter. It has not been an easy adjustment for us. Now we are looking for a forever home. I sure hope you will come visit and give me a new start in life. I have a lot of good years left to love another family. I will probably do best in a quiet adult home. Born 2011, neutered, up to date on shots; FeLV/FIV neg.On Prescription food: Hill's CD- can be purchased at the shelter. Bonnie- lovely shiny black young lady. She was found in a feral colony at a local industrial site. We kept her in after spaying because she seemed friendly. She likes attention and gets along with other cats, but would be happy being the only cat. She is shy and needs someone who can give her one on one attention. She will have to be kept in one room at first when adopted until she get used to new surroundings. She was born approx 7/24/15, spayed, shots, FeLV neg. Meet Cleo Adult female, Black & White Tuxedo Domestic short hair; born 2013 Spayed, current with shots; FeLV/FIV neg. Wants to be the only cat in the home On Prescription food Adult home or older children OK About Cleo I am a shy reserved girl who likes pets and brushing once I get to know you. I am on prescription urinary food, but with one cat it lasts a long time. You can buy it here at the shelter. I am not comfortable being with all these other cats at the shelter, but I did live with my sister for a long time. I will like your house better than living here at the shelter . I hope someone will give me a chance. My back story…. My family was rescued by an elderly couple in Slatington when we were kittens. They kept us in their attic to socialize us. The elderly man would come up to be with us. Then he died in 2015 and his wife asked FFF to take me and my sister. We were still shy kitties. The volunteers at FFF worked with us as much as they could. In Dec 2017 a lady adopted me, but returned me in March 2018 because she said I hid all the time. So then they put me back in a cage with my caboodle because that’s where they thought I was comfortable. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID19 SITUATION OUR SHELTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO VISITORS. Francis- is a very sweet little girl and will melt your heart once you get to know her. Her former owner said she and her brother were rescued from a drain pipe when they were little. She does not do well with children or other cats. She does fine with dogs. She tends to hide for a few days in a new environment, but with a little coaxing she will warm up just fine. She eats dry food, but loves and goes crazy for wet food. She loves to cuddle under the blankets or right on top of you at bedtime. She also loves her belly rubbed. Huey-is wonderful brown tiger boy who came to us July 2018. He was from colony where some dedicated trappers were getting the adults fixed and rescuing the kittens. They were only 8 wks old at the time. His sister Paula was recently adopted,as after a year we gave up on keeping them together. The volunteers feel he misses his sister now, so he will need a home with another young cat he can play with. He can probably handle older children, but not toddlers. Meet Jim: Young male, brown swirl domestic short hair, small size, current with shots, FeLV/FIV negative, house trained, neutered - adult home with older children okay; dogs okay; born approx 9/18/19. About Jim: Jim - I am the most playful kitten of the bunch and I’m a total jokester. I love playing with other kitties and I like to jump out and scare them. My favorite place to be is where the humans are and I will follow them like a shadow. My favorite toy is the chirping bird toy and I love watching out the window. I need to be adopted with my brother Michael Scott, as we have become very bonded. I have very distinctive tabby stripes- I have swirls on my head that looks like a cat head design. My Back Story- Forgotten Felines foster was contacted through a neighborhood group about rescuing kittens found in the neighborhood. My siblings and I were pretty grown when we were found and scared of humans. With some love and treats, we really came around. We would love to find a group of humans to be able to trust for the rest of our lives. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID19 SITUATION OUR SHELTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO VISITORS. Michael Scott - I am a silly and shy (at first) boy who was rescued from a neighborhood where myself and two other siblings found shelter in some porch furniture. I am in a foster home with a lot of other cats. I need to be in a home where my family can keep up with my energy level. I need to be adopted with my brother Jim, as we have become bonded in our foster home. I’m a little fearful of dogs so I don’t get in their way. I love to play with the rainbow string on a stick or laser light. I like the kitten room in my foster home and I love hanging out in the cat tree with the resident kitties. My siblings and I were pretty grown when we were found and scared of humans. With some love and treats, we really came around. Meet Pillsbury Adult male, red & white domestic long hair Born Approx. 2016 Neutered, current with shots, FeLV/FIV neg Adult home or with older children On special food and meds for allergies .Meet Pillsbury, a very handsome long hair orange & white boy. Pillsbury loves to play with a laser light and absolutely adores being brushed. He is 2-3 years old, neutered and FeLV/ FIV negative. Check out how adorable he is!! How is it this gorgeous cuddle bug has not been adopted yet? First of all, Pillsbury does not enjoy shelter life... he finds it stressful and overstimulating. Secondly, Pillsbury has some medical issues. He is currently on prescription food for and meds for allergies. Many potential adopters pass by Pillsbury because he has special needs. In the right home, Pillsbury will be a devoted companion and loving friend. My Back Story….. I was found by a lady tending a feral colony in May 2017 and she brought me to FFF when she realized I was not a feral cat, but a friendly drop-off. After I was here a while I kept coming down with upper respiratory infections and then it was discovered that I had stomatitis- an inflammation of the gums. I was treated with steroids to reduce the inflammation. Then I became diabetic at two years old. I was on insulin twice/day, but now I don’t have to be taking that, but I am being monitored. I would love to be the only cat or maybe live with one other cat. I do not like other male cats. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID19 SITUATION OUR SHELTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO VISITORS. Winnie - I am a beautiful calico girl, so I figure I will let my looks charm people. I like attention in short spurts. But what I would really like is to be your one and only . I was rescued at 8 weeks old after I was caught in a fence in 2010. My one back leg was so damaged that it had to be amputated. I am still here and now would like a home being the only cat. I can tolerate some of the other cats in my room, but some others I don't have any patience for, cause I need to be the boss. Then they put me on "time out" in a cage. Mostly I like to take the highest seat on the cat tower or lay in the sun at the window. I will be happy being the only cat with the right adult family.
