He likes attention and being petted, once he trusts you. He likes hiding out in the cat condo and comes out to socialize when there are not too many people in the room. He gets along with other cats but should have a quiet adult home. Born approx 2014, neutered, up to date on shots and Leukemia neg. If someone would be willing to foster him that would be great. BW aka Bailey - I am a handsome black and white boy rescued by an older lady when I appeared in her yard in 2011. She kept me and my family in her garage loft. It was comfy there. I loved climbing the rafters and playing with the other cats there. I also love massages. The lady had to move to Arizona in 2018., so we came to the shelter. It has not been an easy adjustment for us. Now we are looking for a forever home. I sure hope you will come visit and give me a new start in life. I have a lot of good years left to love another family. I will probably do best in a quiet adult home. Born 2011, neutered, up to date on shots; FeLV/FIV neg.On Prescription food: Hill's CD- can be purchased at the shelter. Bonnie- lovely shiny black young lady. She was found in a feral colony at a local industrial site. We kept her in after spaying because she seemed friendly. She likes attention and gets along with other cats, but would be happy being the only cat. She is shy and needs someone who can give her one on one attention. She will have to be kept in one room at first when adopted until she get used to new surroundings. She was born approx 7/24/15, spayed, shots, FeLV neg. Bree- - is a sweet, gentle cat that enjoys the company of other felines. She was trapped outside in rural Palmerton in Fall 2015 after area homeowners reported she had given birth earlier in the spring to 4 kittens. While convalescing after her spaying surgery, it was discovered that she was very loving, and seemed truly grateful to be indoors and able to receive consistent food and attention. Returning to live her life outdoors was not an option. It is now 2018 and Bree is still here. She likes attention from visitors, loving pets and rubs. She gets along with the other cats in the room. Born approx 2014, spayed, feline leukemia tested (neg), has been wormed, and is up to date on shots; microchipped. Calypso- I am a gorgeous one-year-old calico female who came to Forgotten Felines when my previous owner dropped me off in a crate outside unannounced. Luckily, I was spotted right away and brought in for some TLC. I am finally coming out of my shell,so to speak! I respond with affectionate purrs and enthusiastic happy feet. Cuddles are nice, too! I would make a great companion to anyone willing to show me patience and love. I am just apprehensive because of all the cats here. I would appreciate a quiet home. I would like children as long as they stay calm, kind and respectful to animals. Not sure if I like other cats, Maybe one other calm cat in the home would be ok. You would have to do a very gradual introduction. More about Calypso: I am spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and FeLV & FIV negative. Clara loves to chase her kibble and would rather run after it than eat it from the dish. She forgets being nervous when there is playtime. Clara and her 2 sisters were rescued by a nice woman trying to spay her colony of strays. They were feral kittens at 7 weeks old and very sick with eye infections. They would not have survived the winter ahead and were lucky to have been caught at such an early age. Would do best in an adult home since loud noises can spook her. Would do well with other cats, but no dogs for Clara. Clara and her sisters are in a foster home, so let us know if you wish to come see them on our adoption days: Saturdays 12-4. Meet Cleo Adult female, Black & White Tuxedo Domestic short hair; born 2013 Spayed, current with shots; FeLV/FIV neg. Wants to be the only cat in the home On Prescription food Adult home or older children OK About Cleo I am a shy reserved girl who likes pets and brushing once I get to know you. I am on prescription urinary food, but with one cat it lasts a long time. You can buy it here at the shelter. I am not comfortable being with all these other cats at the shelter, but I did live with my sister for a long time. I will like your house better than living here at the shelter . I hope someone will give me a chance. My back story…. My family was rescued by an elderly couple in Slatington when we were kittens. They kept us in their attic to socialize us. The elderly man would come up to be with us. Then he died in 2015 and his wife asked FFF to take me and my sister. We were still shy kitties. The volunteers at FFF worked with us as much as they could. In Dec 2017 a lady adopted me, but returned me in March 2018 because she said I hid all the time. So then they put me back in a cage with my caboodle because that’s where they thought I was comfortable. Comet -If you want only one cat, I am the guy for you! I am a handsome long hair boy who was rescued from the outdoors in June 2019. Some people didn't like that I was killing the birds out there. I was already neutered and eartipped. I guess someone thought I was a feral cat. I was used to being out there on my own, but not feral. I love human attention. I really was unhappy being in a room with other cats. I will sit on your lap if I can be the only cat. I hope you will come visit me at the shelter. Cozy (silver tabby) and her brother Spencer( brown tabby/white) were rescued from danger after being born outside. They love to be brushed and are mild mannered. Gentle, loving, and used to a quiet home. They need a home with a family or single person who has patience with them. They were adopted last year, but came back in a few weeks because they were given too much space to run too soon and just got scared and did not care to bond with their humans. They would not be good with young children. They were rescued by an older lady after the mom gave birth to them in her neighbor's yard. They were already a couple months old when found and they bonded to her. She could not keep them and they came to the shelter in the beginning of 2018. Gidget- -Special needs cat needs a special family! Gidget developed a bad reputation at our shelter because, well, she was kind've cranky. It turns out that Gidget had a serious eye issue that could only be solved by removing her eye. Check out the video on our facebook page. With the cause of her discomfort eliminated, you can see this one eyed cat can be quite loving. She likes being held, napping by herself in corner condo. She would probably like to be an only cat in an adult home. Back story:tiger calico girl found during a TNR project at a Palmerton property winter 2016. She seemed friendly when first found outside, but here at the shelter she regressed socially and did not seem to like anybody. Now she acts a lot better since they removed the eye. Luther is a super friendly, playful 2 yr old. He goes belly up to get petted. He wants all the attention and prefers to be the only cat. He likely had some rough times surviving outside considering he has FIV, which is contracted by getting a bite from a cat who has it. That must have left him leery of other cats. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) just means he has an immune system that doesn't work as well as non FIV cats. Keeping him indoors, away from sick animals is his best medicine. Luther also was diagnosed with urinary crystals, a condition that would have eventually killed him, so he eats prescription food, which is available here. Its tasty, serving sizes are small, and it makes for a cleaner litter pan! You won't go wrong with this sweet boy! Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, combo tested, dewormed. Ready to love. Mouse- was a very active and inquisitive little girl. At only a few months old she was trapped outside by an elderly lady who is getting swamped with strays in May 2017. Since she seemed so friendly we decided to keep her. Once here for a while she has developed an attitude, but with patience and the right owner energy she would love to be in someone's home. She might do best as an only cat, although she does reside with other cats at the shelter. If someone wants to foster her before adopting, that would be ideal. She was born approx Dec 2016. Meet Pillsbury Adult male, red & white domestic long hair Born Approx. 2016 Neutered, current with shots, FeLV/FIV neg Adult home or with older children On special food for allergies Diabetes monitoring .Meet Pillsbury, a very handsome long hair orange & white boy. Pillsbury loves to play with a laser light and absolutely adores being brushed. He is 2-3 years old, neutered and FeLV/ FIV negative. Check out how adorable he is!! How is it this gorgeous cuddle bug has not been adopted yet? First of all, Pillsbury does not enjoy shelter life... he finds it stressful and overstimulating. Secondly, Pillsbury has some medical issues. He is currently on prescription food (which could be purchased at the shelter for a reduced cost) for allergies and he is diabetic (he currently does NOT need insulin shots). Many potential adopters pass by Pillsbury because he has special needs. In the right home, Pillsbury will be a devoted companion and loving friend. Will you help us find Pillsbury a home before his 2 year shelter anniversary next month? My Back Story….. I was found by a lady tending a feral colony in May 2017 and she brought me to FFF when she realized I was not a feral cat, but a friendly drop-off. After I was here a while I kept coming down with upper respiratory infections and then it was discovered that I had stomatitis- an inflammation of the gums. I was treated with steroids to reduce the inflammation. Then I became diabetic at two years old. I was on insulin twice/day, but now I don’t have to be taking that, but I am being monitored. I would love to be the only cat or maybe live with one other cat. Contact: 610-760-9009 press line#2; submit online application at: www.forgottenfelines.org [4/13/19]

Spencer and his sister Cozy were rescued from danger after being born outside. They love to be brushed and are mild mannered. Gentle, loving, and used to a quiet home. Spencer is a dark tabby with white accents. Born approx 2017;Neutered, FeLV neg and up to date on shots. They need a home together with a family or single person who has patience with them. They were adopted last year, but were returned a short time later. They were given too much space to run too soon and just got scared and did not care to bond with their humans. They would not be good with young children. They were rescued by an older lady after the mom gave birth to them in her neighbor's yard. Whimpy- came to us in November 2017. He was trapped on a local property where there are always stray cats and drop-offs. His foot was permanently injured ( maybe hit by a car) and the vet could not do much for it because it was an old injury. He gets around just fine even though he cannot put weight on it. He has been living in a room with 19 other cats and he gets along with them . He has become quite social with the volunteers and will lay on their lap. Since he has proved he is social with people we would like to get him a forever indoor home. He is neutered, up to date on shots. He is FeLV neg and FIV positive. This does not pose a risk to other cats as long as they get along. He was born approx 2013 and can live a long life. He would be OK with older children, but not toddlers or dogs. Winnie - I am a beautiful calico girl, so I figure I will let my looks charm people. I like attention in short spurts. But what I would really like is to be your one and only . I was rescued at 8 weeks old after I was caught in a fence in 2010. My one back leg was so damaged that it had to be amputated. I am still here and now would like a home being the only cat. I can tolerate some of the other cats in my room, but some others I don't have any patience for, cause I need to be the boss. Then they put me on "time out" in a cage.
