I get along with other cats but should have a quiet adult home. Born approx 2014, neutered, up to date on shots and Leukemia neg.; microchipped. I will need one room to start in and someone who has lots of time and patience. She loves being petted, and is a volunteer favorite because of her laid back and sweet personality. She gets along with other cats and likes to chase after the laser pointer. Aurora would prefer a quiet adult only home or one that has older children. Caprese- a young female tabby with an adorable head tilt! She came to the shelter after being trapped on a farm, and she actually gave birth to her kittens in the trap. Her kittens have all been adopted and now she’s hoping it’s her turn! She is very playful and active, and she especially likes chasing after catnip toys. Although she came into the shelter as a feral cat, you would never know it! She has a sweet personality and would love to have a young cat as a playmate. She eats Friskies wet food and Purina dry food. She is a happy and healthy kitty who is looking for that special someone to take her to her forever home! After being spayed our vet noticed she developed vistibular, having a head tilt, from unknown origin. After some TLC and medication her condition slightly improved. She plays by herself with the circle toy or chases toy mice or balls like a kitten. She has become a favorite of the volunteers and has even gotten used to being picked up. She loves to lay by the window and watch the birds. She could be adopted as an only, or with another young cat. Caprese is a small cat and probably born in June 2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV neg;, microchipped. She requires a quiet home without dogs and a cat companion that is calm and receptive to a new cat. Older children with cat experience ok. She is very food oriented so a real plus when it comes to transitioning. Very clean and well behaved. DOB: August 2020, up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV neg; microchipped. Coop-Recipe for a good cat: 4 cups of playfulness 2 teaspoons of cuteness 3 tablespoons of cuddles 1 quart of love 5 ounces of curiosity Mix all these ingredients together and the result is Coop! He is a handsome, outgoing, 5 year old male who is looking for his forever home. He loves to be the center of attention and would be a great addition for someone who can shower him with affection. He would prefer to be the only cat or in a home with a non assertive female cat. So come adopt him today so that he can say he “flew the Coop”! More about Coop: Coop is an awesome guy but choosy about his people. He was adopted as a kitten and had a wonderful home where he slept with the teenager and wanted to be part of the family. He is an outgoing guy and loves attention. But when they moved to a neighborhood with many stray cats, he became upset just seeing them out his window. He totally changed causing the family to give him up. This has now put him in just the situation that tormented him - being around many cats. He has been here since May 2021, in a room with three older females, with whom he gets along. He is a big good looking fellow who will make a wonderful pet as long as he's the only one getting all your attention. He likes to pick his people and will come up to you for pets. He would be good as an only cat in a home without small children, or with another female cat who is non-assertive. DOB: 2016, neutered, up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV neg; microchipped. My name is Luke and this is my best friend Pudding. She and I are two super sweet cats who would love to go to a forever home together. I am 8 years old and Pudding is 5, and we are both very affectionate. I eat prescription gastrointestinal wet and dry food which can be purchased through the shelter. Pudding likes Friskies wet food (especially chicken shreds) and she eats the same dry food as me. I am neutered and Pudding is spayed, and we are both microchipped. What can I say, we are a purr-fect pair! #rescuecat #catshelters #adoptdontshop #catadopt #cutecat #lovecats #sheltercats Luke- I am a very friendly and affectionate guy who was left by my owner outside on a farm property last year. A kind lady who moved in there started feeding me and my other cat companion. She was our savior and got us in to Forgotten Felines shelter in August 2020. My friend "Bo Duke" was adopted quickly. I had to have one eye out due to an unusual inflammation behind the eye so I couldn’t be adopted right away. I am FIV positive, probably from being outside. I'm a calm guy who loves attention from people. I even like children as long as they treat me kindly. I was delighted when Pudding, a female tabby, moved in next to me. We are now living together in the same condo. She is very sweet and we would love to be adopted together. Neviah-Want to hear some fun facts about calicos? They are considered to be good luck charms all over the world, and they are called “money cats” in the United States because they bring good fortune to their owners! They are almost always female, and they are the official state cat of Maryland. Lastly, they are usually considered sassy, spunky and independent. This perfectly describes Neviah, a 4 year old calico girl who would do well in a quiet, adult only home. She and her siblings came to the shelter in June 2018 after being found outside. Vincent Vangogh-aka Vinny- is the sweetest cat you could ever find. He was rescued in January 2020 from a feral colony one of our volunteers had TNR'd and is feeding. A nice lady adopted him and took him home for 8 weeks. She had one female cat that just would not accept Vinny. He never showed any aggressive behavior toward her, but she just did not like him and wanted to attack him. He'd follow them wherever they went. Her heart was broken having to give him back. He loves to be petted and when you stroke his nose leather, he'll tilt his head back and smile. He's a wonderful cat. He has the "purrfect" name. His left ear had required surgery due to an injury he sustained earlier in his life. His poor little ear gives him" purrsonality". He also loves to go in the shower when you're done and be wiped down with a wet towel. He loves other cats and loves to play. Small children would not be advised-older, calm kids ok..
