  • Assist in organizing and maintaining supplies
  • Perform general administrative tasks-filing, logging phone calls, record keeping tasks, etc.
  • Assist at Adoption Days (Saturdays)
  • Prepare and print adoption flyers
  • Take photos of cats to be used in promoting adoption
  • Provide adoption support, checking veterinarian references, contacting families after adoptions-follow-up phone calls or emails, etc.
  • Assist with daily cleaning of cat areas in several buildings, usually done mornings (9-11:00AM)
  • Socialize and spend quality time with cats
  • The shelter house and barn are home to about 150 felines on any given day, so the need to clean is endless. Any time that you can donate to help clean food bowls, wash linen, clean litter boxes…etc, is VERY appreciated. The bulk of the work is done daily (including weekends and holidays) by just a few volunteers who would always appreciate and extra set of hands
  • Become foster home
  • Provide bottle feeding for kittens
  • Attend adoption events with your kittens/cats
  • Learn more about Foster Care
  • Organize fundraising events and man booths 
  • Collect donations for fundraisers
  • Bake or create crafts for fundraising
  • Generate new ideas for fundraising
  • Assist in grant writing
  • Take photos to be used for promotion-cats, volunteers in action, fundraising events, etc
  • Communicate with Volunteers  (fundraisers, shelter events, adoption days, etc.)Keep supporters up to date on events, etc. through newsletters, emails, social media
  • Generate brochures, press releases, newsletters and flyers for distribution
  • Communicate with media outlets for shelter events
  • Maintain online presence (Website, Facebook, Google +,Google Business etc.)
  • Manage shelter improvements and repairs
  • Perform ongoing maintenance
  • Perform landscaping
  • Assist with check in and check out for Spay/Neuter clinic (Monday or Wednesday evening)
  • Assist at Spring and Fall Pet Vaccination Clinics with paperwork, etc.
