Paris (female) and Lyon (male)- Adorable and irresistible kitten pair! They came from separate places in May 2022, but have become a bonded pair in their foster home. If you are looking to adopt 2 adorable kittens, look no further than Paris and Lyon! They are about 8 weeks old and are a bonded pair (which means they need to be adopted together). Paris is a female who is the more independent of the two, while Lyon is a male who loves to cuddle and is described as a “love bug”. They are currently thriving in their foster home, and they even get along with the foster family’s medium sized dog! They love to chase each other around and play together, especially with springs and shoelaces. They are currently eating Fancy Feast wet food and kitten dry food. We are pawsitive you will fall in love with their wonderful purr-sonalities and that you will be best furiends forever! They are very sweet and playful kids. They were born mid April 2022, up to date on vaccines, negative for FeLV/FIV. Archie - A playful and affectionate young boy. He loves circle toys and tunnels and climbing on high places. Archie and his brother Reamus came from an older gentleman who was getting overwhelmed with all the cats he had rescued. Reamus has become bonded with Pumpkin Spice, rescued from a different property, but all three could be adopted together. Please note: due to an extensive fecal test, they were diagnosed with GI coronavirus which is contagious to other cats when sharing litter boxes. It is now not symptomatic, but still can be shed and other cats get it. Symptoms are runny poop. We advise that he go with another kitty who was diagnosed with it as well. Aruba would be a good companion for Archie if you cannot take him with Reamus and Pumpkin Spice. Born in July 2021, neutered, FeLV/FIV neg., microchipped. Aurora - She is a long haired, 7 year old female who is still waiting for her forever home. Because Aurora can be shy, she needs someone who will be patient with her while she transitions to her new home. She loves being petted, and is a volunteer favorite because of her laid back and sweet personality. She gets along with other cats and likes to chase after the laser pointer. Aurora would prefer a quiet adult only home or one that has older children. Chiclet- Single gray female seeking a forever companion! I would describe myself as affectionate, independent and low maintenance. My best features are my dazzling green eyes and my adorable white feet. My hobbies include taking frequent cat naps and playing with catnip toys. My favorite activities are being petted, rubbing up against your hand and purring loudly! I’m seeking someone who will be patient with me because I can be a little shy sometimes and I’m still coming out of my shell. So come meet me and see if you are my perfect match! More about Chiclet: she was an outside kitten when at 6 mo. old her owner left to go into a nursing home. She has come a long way in foster care and has learned to love her pettings so much that she drools! She likes to be approached very softly and quietly and will grace you with being picked up occasionally. A quiet adult home with or without another cat or kitten would work for her. She is very food oriented so a real plus when it comes to transitioning. Very clean and well behaved. DOB: August 2020, up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV neg; microchipped. Coop-Recipe for a good cat: 4 cups of playfulness 2 teaspoons of cuteness 3 tablespoons of cuddles 1 quart of love 5 ounces of curiosity Mix all these ingredients together and the result is Coop! He is a handsome, outgoing, 5 year old male who is looking for his forever home. He loves to be the center of attention and would be a great addition for someone who can shower him with affection. He would prefer to be the only cat or in a home with a non assertive female cat. So come adopt him today so that he can say he “flew the Coop”! More about Coop: Coop is an awesome guy but choosy about his people. He was adopted as a kitten and had a wonderful home where he slept with the teenager and wanted to be part of the family. He is an outgoing guy and loves attention. But when they moved to a neighborhood with many stray cats, he became upset just seeing them out his window. He totally changed causing the family to give him up. This has now put him in just the situation that tormented him - being around many cats. He has been here since May 2021, in a room with three older females, with whom he gets along. He is a big good looking fellow who will make a wonderful pet as long as he's the only one getting all your attention. He likes to pick his people and will come up to you for pets. He would be good as an only cat in a home without small children, or with another female cat who is non-assertive. DOB: 2016, neutered, up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV neg; microchipped. Thyme (Ty), a tabby male, is more social than his sister and has become quite the nuzzler. They love to play together. He doesn't mind being picked up. When you just sit there, they both will come to you for pets and brushing, which they love. Adult home is best and should have shy cat experience. They are not used to small children or dogs. . My name is Luke and this is my best friend Pudding. She and I are two super sweet cats who would love to go to a forever home together. I am 8 years old and Pudding is 5, and we are both very affectionate. I eat prescription gastrointestinal wet and dry food which can be purchased through the shelter. Pudding likes Friskies wet food (especially chicken shreds) and she eats the same dry food as me. I am neutered and Pudding is spayed, and we are both microchipped. What can I say, we are a purr-fect pair! #rescuecat #catshelters #adoptdontshop #catadopt #cutecat #lovecats #sheltercats Luke- I am a very friendly and affectionate guy who was left by my owner outside on a farm property last year. A kind lady who moved in there started feeding me and my other cat companion. She was our savior and got us in to Forgotten Felines shelter in August 2020. My friend "Bo Duke" was adopted quickly. I had to have one eye out due to an unusual inflammation behind the eye so I couldn’t be adopted right away. I am FIV positive, probably from being outside. I'm a calm guy who loves attention from people. I even like children as long as they treat me kindly. I was delighted when Pudding, a female tabby, moved in next to me. We are now living together in the same condo. She is very sweet and we would love to be adopted together. Mouse- Meet Mouse, a 5 year old female who first came to the shelter after being trapped outside. Although her name would suggest she is meek and mild, she is actually outgoing and friendly. Mouse is very playful, and she especially loves chasing the laser pointer. Even though she can sometimes get overstimulated, she is usually an affectionate cat who likes to be pet. She gets along with other cats but she prefers to be the center of attention. Mouse eats Friskies wet food and Purina dry food. Her adopter should feed her primarily wet food and not freed feed to get her weight down. She is FIV/FeLV negative, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are almost always female, and they are the official state cat of Maryland. Lastly, they are usually considered sassy, spunky and independent. This perfectly describes Neviah, a 4 year old calico girl who would do well in a quiet, adult only home. She and her siblings came to the shelter in June 2018 after being found outside. Her siblings have all since been adopted, so Neviah is hoping that now it’s her turn! She gets along with older cats, and she likes to chase after feather toys. Vincent Vangogh-aka Vinny- is the sweetest cat you could ever find. He was rescued in January 2020 from a feral colony one of our volunteers had TNR'd and is feeding. A nice lady adopted him and took him home for 8 weeks. She had one female cat that just would not accept Vinny. He never showed any aggressive behavior toward her, but she just did not like him and wanted to attack him. He'd follow them wherever they went. Her heart was broken having to give him back. He loves to be petted and when you stroke his nose leather, he'll tilt his head back and smile. He's a wonderful cat. He has the "purrfect" name. His left ear had required surgery due to an injury he sustained earlier in his life. His poor little ear gives him" purrsonality". He also loves to go in the shower when you're done and be wiped down with a wet towel. He loves other cats and loves to play. Small children would not be advised-older, calm kids ok.. Born approx 2017, neutered, FeLV/FIV negative; up to date on shots; microchipped. He eats Hill's Science Diet CD food to maintain urinary health.
