Atlas and his siblings were rescued in June from a dangerous situation at a farm. He is playful, but still a little shy. This wonderful declawed boy first came to Forgotten Felines in November 2021 after being found outside. He is extremely friendly and will come running to you looking for lots of pets and attention! Fiona- A very loving girl rescued in New Jersey who tested positive for Leukemia. She came to us in April 2023. She is very sweet and affectionate, likes to be held and petted. Frisco - is an awesome boy who came to us after his one owner passed and the other had to move to a nursing home. He needs a quiet adult home by himself or maybe with another calm cat. He is a very large boy, so we think he is a Maine Coon mix, and does not protest when being held. When he came to us his left eye was bulging from a serious infection, so our vet had to take it out. Gilbert- a wonderful tabby boy. He is very social and playful. It's hard to believe he is already 8 years old. He loves attention, but doesn't like to be picked up. He wants to come to you. He came to us from a TNR client. He had already been neutered and eartipped, but he was so friendly that we kept him. That was in 2022. It turned out Gilbert has GI issues and after a lot of attention from our medical team, they now have him stabilized using prescription food and a low dose of steroids. Introducing Little One, aka Little One Campbell, a very sweet 4 year old orange tabby who is not so little anymore! When he first arrived at Forgotten Felines in October 2018, he was semi feral and very scared. He was extremely fearful of people and really gave the medical team a run for their money whenever they tried to examine him! Little One was then moved into the main house at the shelter in an attempt to socialize him more. Fortunately, over the years, he has really come out of his shell. Now, when you walk into the house to feed him, he jumps onto the kitchen table and greets you! He used to not let anyone touch him, but now he likes being pet. Peter - came to us in December of 2016 along with 3 siblings at just a few weeks old. All of his siblings have since been adopted and Peter still remains at our shelter, to no fault of his own. Over the years Peter became shy and scared of human touch however, recently our volunteers have been spending more time with him to help him adjust in hopes of finding him a forever home. Peter has become a completely different cat. He will come when called and does enjoy pets on his terms. He will sit on the arm of your chair with you and snuggle. He can be very skittish at times and will take time to get used to a new environment. Peter would do best as an only cat. He does tolerate others however, Peter's personality is very dominant and can be a bully. With a little love and a lot of patience, Peter would thrive in his forever home. Smokey is a very friendly and affectionate guy. He and his housemates came to us in February 2024 when their owner suddenly passed away. He is neutered, front declawed, up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. DOB 6/13/ 2009. He is special needs because he has to be on thyroid meds and supplements for GI symptoms. He has to be monitored at your vet with routine bloodwork. He came to us in bad shape and has improved greatly due to the diligence of our medical team. Wyatt- a wonderful 6 yr old orange boy who just wants to be loved. He came to us in August 2022. The family had to move and could not keep him. Wyatt does not seem to like other cats at the shelter, so he has his own room. He is very healthy and needs to be an only cat in the home. He loves people and loves attention.
