Did you know…

There are many amazing ways that you can help support our shelter! Here are some great examples of how you can help Forgotten Felines continue to care for the 100+ cats and kittens daily:

Volunteer: “Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” ~ Elizabeth Andrew. There are many volunteer opportunities to help our shelter continue our mission.  Learn more here. 

Charitable Donation:  A charitable donation is a gift of cash or property made to a nonprofit organization, and this type of donation is tax free! You can donate directly through your payroll, pension, IRA, etc. Taxpayers may deduct charitable donations of up to 60% of their adjusted gross incomes!

Bequests: As part of your will or trust, you can bequest a monetary gift (in any amount) to Forgotten Felines. Also, you can name our shelter as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Lastly, you can name Forgotten Felines as the beneficiary of your retirement fund and donate directly from your fund.

Matching Donation: A matching donation is twice as nice! If your employer offers a payroll deduction program for charitable contributions and you opt to donate through it, the donation is considered pre-tax. Check with your Human Resources Department and see if your employer will match your donation.

Membership: Memberships have their benefits! Aside from receiving our amazing quarterly newsletters, you can sign-up for Silver, Gold, Diamond or Platinum memberships to receive money towards our Spay/Neuter services. Learn more here. 

Our shelter relies on your generosity, is completely donation based, and every donation received is used to continue our mission!
